「Tear. Come here.」 (Izayoi)

I called over Tear who was defeating the weak goblins nearby. Even though we are surrounded, their advance is slow because they are wounded.

Uri was defeating goblins faster than they could approach. I wonder if this is alright.

「Tear. Can you speak with him?」 (Izayoi)

「...Will try.」 (Tear)

I had Rigolo restrain the subjugated goblin king, just to be safe.

「...Stop, fighting.」 (Tear)

「*Guraaa...*」 (Goblin King)

「What did it say?」 (Izayoi)

「Control everything, become king. So, obtain fairy magic, it says.」 (Tear)

「I see, so that's how it is. Unfortunately, you won't become a king. The one that will become king is Tear. For the time being, kneel.」 (Izayoi)

「Tear, king?」 (Tear)

「I forgot to mention it. Tear will become the king of monsters. So make the goblin your serv.... your friend. There won't be any problems if you do so.」 (Izayoi)

「Friend?」 (Tear)

「If you reconcile, then nobody has to get hurt. Stopping before anything bad happens is good. That's something Tear can do. The hero could only defeat people, but Tear is different.」 (Izayoi)

Tear closed her eyes.

The goblin king bowed before Fiere, who started lecturing with her arms crossed.

The goblin king roared, and the other goblins calmed down. Is this alright?

Having given the order for the goblins to return to the valley, they all turned around and left in succession.

We watched the goblins leave.

「If you befriend all of the monsters, maybe. Well, the world is large, so it might not be possible during your lifetime.」 (Izayoi)

「...Will try hard.」 (Tear)

「Tear, you really want to do it?」 (Izayoi)

「...Is it, no good?」 (Tear)

「It's not that it's bad but...」 (Izayoi)

If she wants to do it, I'll help.

「If you want to do it, you have to become strong. And wash—」 (Izayoi)

「—Two days, one time.」 (Tear)

The goblins were able to return home safely. And I was able to obtain Fiere.

「Now then, should we go home and make something to eat?」 (Izayoi)

「So, who is that girl?」 (Lilia)

「This is Fiere. She's an old acquaintance. I picked her up on the way.」 (Izayoi)

Returning to the house, I was met by Lilia who had not died yet. She must have some regrets still. I'll let her rest in peace soon.

「Tear, become friends with Lilia. Then she'll be able to rest in peace.」 (Izayoi)

「...Ok.」 (Tear)

「Wait a second! Please don't continue with the joke!」 (Lilia)

「...It is alright. Reri will become your friend too.」 (Reri)

「That's right! Uri will be your friend too! Rest in peace!」 (Uri)

「Fiere too, Fiere too.」 (Fiere)

「...Everyone, friends.」 (Tear)

「I refuse.」 (Izayoi)

「Please stop! Before that, what happened with the goblins?」 (Lilia)

「I properly intimidated the goblins. They won't leave the valley anymore.」 (Izayoi)

「With words of course. Really, you're even less perceptive than goblins. They listen to what I say when I threaten to kill them, but even after you’ve been killed you keep saying whatever you want.」 (Izayoi)
