Defiled Hero Chapter 039

Defiled Hero

Return Of The Walking King

On her first adventure, Tear safely became friends with the monster that was to be subjugated. However, Darkness Spirit Tsukuyomi suddenly appeared, and Tear is determined to fight.

White light overflowed, and several monsters appeared as the light retreated. Two red dragons and an enormous black steel dragon.

Sand was billowing off of the ground with a large gust, as the dragons came down to land.

As they landed, the ground rumbled violently. Observing from the shadows, my body seemed to float for a second.

Even though Tear summoned her friends to fight, the water dragon didn't come as expected.

Oh my, How amazing. You seem to have lots of strong friends. I'm envious. (Tsukuyomi)

Tsukuyomi confronted the assembled war potential of Tear with her lone dragon. There are four spirit gods. I wonder if Tear's combat strength is higher or not.

That's it. How about I bring out more of my friends!? (Tsukuyomi)

Appearing from the whirling darkness was a gigantic knight clad in armor. The jet black dragon and the demon gods are approximately A-rank. They shouldn't have that hard of a time fighting.

But, that one is different. Phantom Dark Knight Gradius. It has a weapon, unlike the other demons. Its speed and strength cannot be compared.

If it's the steel dragon, things should be fine somehow.

*Guraa—Gura? Gurara?* (Goblin King)

In the middle of all of the tension, the goblin king raised a stupid voice. Surprised, he looked around restlessly.

The instant he was summoned, he had a smile with an expression of accomplishment. But with a serious look and a grunt, his expression gradually became clouded.

*...Ra.* (Goblin King)

King, lacking expression, walked forth unsteadily, and walked in a large circle around Gradius.

Arara? What's wrong? Your friend is wallowing in despair! I wonder if he wants to die. Very well. Shall I help him? (Tsukuyomi)

...No! (Tear)

Trudging forth step by step, King dragged his club along powerlessly. Tear cried out, and Rigolo and the dragons moved forth to help.

However, Gradius with the enormous sword would not wait. Before they could get close enough to help, Gradius' large sword—

The time has come.
An extraordinary roar shook the atmosphere, and a large cloud of sand was whipped up.

Gradius is strong enough to be S-rank. Even I had a hard time against it. The goblin king is B-rank in comparison. There's no hope of winning.

As Tear and the rest watched dumbfounded, they cast their eyes downward with sad expressions. As if to mock them, Tsukuyomi raised her voice in glee.

The cloud of sand disappeared, and two shadows could be seen. One shadow was standing, and the other had fallen to the earth. Receiving that attack and coming away from it safe is impossible.

As the sand cloud cleared—

*—Gura.* (Goblin King)

King stood there quietly.

Gradius lay on the ground.

...King? (Tear)

With a useless movement, Gradius tried to get up only to get poked with the club. With a deep, reverberating sound, Gradius was blown away.

Everyone was in doubt, dumbfounded.

King's movement wasn't at the level of B-rank.

Standing quietly in a dignified manner, King stared sharply at Gradius. King is not the same as when I fought him. Things are not like they were before, where reasoning had been thrown away, and the club was swung purely with anger.

Murderous intent could clearly be felt.

Focus was kept, with anger being tempered by reason, and murderous intent was sharpened.

But, why did King improve so much?

I see. King was enraged at Tsukuyomi for trying to do something to his friends, so he focused all of his anger at his enemies.

That has to be it. That's probably it. That has to be what happened.

Defeated by King's overwhelming attack, Gradius disappeared into black smoke.

*Gurara?* (King)

As King scowled, the other spirits were frightened, but immediately rushed over to cheer him up. With a single swing, the demons were reduced to smoke.

King defeated the demons in an instant.

Even though King is unbelievably strong, there are still enemies that can't be defeated.

Oh my, isn't the dirty goblin king is quite strong. (Tsukuyomi)

*—Gura!* (King)

King swung his club at Tsukuyomi. It didn't hit.

Neither physical nor magic attacks work against the troublesome dark spirit. There's currently nothing in the world that can kill Tsukuyomi.

It's impossible even for me. Even if you can defeat the summoned demons, you can't defeat the summoner.

No matter how much King swings, he doesn't hit. Even with the help of Rigolo and the dragon, they cannot beat her.

In the fight between two similar battle styles, Tear's group won.
But, Tsukuyomi cannot be defeated.

As long as Tsukuyomi continues to summon enemies, Tear cannot win.

*Ufufu,* I'm exhausted, so should I end this by breaking the number one plaything!? (Tsukuyomi)

...Mm. (Tear)

Accepting the challenge, Tear brought forth her scythe. Thick smoke covered the arm of Tsukuyomi, forming into a blade.

—I'm done playing around here too. (Izayoi)

Strengthening myself to the limit with magic power, I protected Tear, and sliced Tsukuyomi. In front of me was Tear with a dignified expression, determined to not give up until the end.

You've passed the exam. You tried hard... Leave the rest to me. (Izayoi)

...Icha, yoi. (Tear)

Tear became stiff as her expression distorted, changing back to one fitting of a girl her age. Gently patting the head of the trembling, crying Tear, I stood up.

Thanks for taking care of my companions. I am a courteous man. Allow me to express my gratitude. (Izayoi)

I thought someone was there, so you came to see me. Former her— (Tsukuyomi)

Kicking off of the ground in an instant, I approached and severed Tsukuyomi.

Jeez, why are you in such a rush? (Tsukuyomi)

Of course there was no resistance felt from the blade. Looking between Tear and I, laughter slipped out from Tsukuyomi.

I see. You and I. It's our secret isn't it. I'm happy. So you trust me that much! (Tsukuyomi)

Sorry, that's not it. According to my teacher, women with large breasts cannot be trusted. (Izayoi)

What awful prejudice... So what will you do this time? Gradius has already been defeated. There's still time until he revives. Will you wait until then? Shall we have an enjoyable conversation until then? (Tsukuyomi)

I don't have that kind of time. It's time to fight. (Izayoi)

Fight? There aren't any demons good enough to fight you, you know? (Tsukuyomi)

I said it before. It's payback for taking care of my comrades. —Bring it on. (Izayoi)

That wonderful gaze that you're giving me makes me happy, but you know, don't you? You cannot beat me. (Tsukuyomi)

I'm not aiming to beat you. I'm aiming to determine victory or defeat. (Izayoi)

Hmph. You sure thought of something interesting. Very well! This is making me aroused! (Tsukuyomi)

I swung my sword. There was no feeling of resistance.

Intensifying the magic from Fiere flowing through me, I moved to Tsukuyomi instantaneously and slashed.

*Nfufu,* you seem to have become quite strong. But, that is not enough to defeat me! (Tsukuyomi)

That may be so. However, I'm not just cutting with the sword.

I can't beat her. However, I can win. Without being frightened upon encountering an unknown enemy on her first adventure, Tear pushed forward with her own sense of justice. It has to have been scary. Tear stood against them, prepared to die.

Now, it's my turn to fight.
Tear did her best.
Now, I'll do my best too.

I don't have the leisure to choose the method. I need put everything forth, and win. Coming to a halt, I put my sword behind me.

Are you finished already? (Tsukuyomi)

Nope, wrong. This is the end. (Izayoi)

Honing my senses, I concentrated.

Victory is not killing her.

Right. Winning is good. I just have to win.

I've shown Tear something unsightly.

Putting everything into this, I will end it.

Using all of my strength in one explosive burst, I approached Tsukuyomi. She just stared me, as expected.

It won't end with just this. I'll end it.

I'm betting it all on this. With this, I'll end it.

There's only one condition for victory. That is—

*Squish*

—Your boobs, I will massage them. (Izayoi)

...Wh, Wha— (Tsukuyomi)

The feeling is transmitted through my hand. Finally, I've caught them. I promptly extended my left hand, capturing the second mound.

Without letting go, I pushed her down. Not understanding the situation, Tsukuyomi was petrified.

You can't be cut. But, you can be caught. (Izayoi)

Astrea's powers are not strong. However, she has enough power if applied directly.

I can't kill you, but I can win if I render you powerless. (Izayoi)

Y, you, what are you— (Tsukuyomi)

With the disgrace of defeat, her face was gradually dyed red, and she muttered with a voice colored with anger.

Obediently acknowledge your loss. (Izayoi)

Wha, this, no, not this! (Tsukuyomi)

I massaged her voluptuous chest.

As I did so, Tsukuyomi stared at me with teary eyes, her mouth opening and closing soundlessly.

Is this really that humiliating?

As I continued to massage her breasts, Tsukuyomi, beet red, suddenly let out a unnatural sound.

*—Auu.* (Tsukuyomi)

Eh? (Izayoi)

No sooner than she began to resist, her head went back and her mouth flopped open. With eyes half open. she appears to have fainted. Did her anger send all of the blood to her head and cause her to faint?

...What do I do with her. (Izayoi)

I succeeded in disabling her. But what should I do now? In order to restrain her, I need to keep touching her.

She will be quite strong if she wakes up and starts resisting. It will be fine if I have Fiere's magic power to strengthen my body, but it has decreased considerably. There isn't much left.

...Is it alright to leave her? (Izayoi)

Even if she wants revenge, she's not a child. So, I can't do anything. Leaving Tsukuyomi as she had collapsed on the ground with steam coming out, I went over to Tear.

...Ichayoi, worst— (Tear)

Why? What was the worst? (Izayoi)

*Kukekeei, kukeke—* (Rigolo)

Et tu, Rigolo? (Izayoi)

It didn't go how I wanted it to, but with this fight, Tear's first adventure ends safely. Not a single person was killed or hurt.

—Everyone, go home. Dismissed. (Izayoi)

...Dismiss. Thank you, everyone. Bye bye. (Tear)

Each friend went back.

However, King stood there without moving, looking up to the sky above.

*Guraa, guraa...* (King)

He seemed to have a refreshed expression.

Dropping his line of sight from the sky, King let out a single sigh.

He looked straight ahead.

*Gurara.* (King)

Leaving behind words of parting, King began to amble slowly away.

Shall we go home too? (Izayoi)

...Yes. (Tear)

*Kuke!* (Rigolo)

Let's go home, while we still can.

    1. yeah poor king, he was about to reach home earlier and got called again

    2. Yeah, but without that walking, how would he have become so strong. It is obviously thanks to the "walking king" title, that he completed when approaching the enemies, that he became so strong.
